Before I decided to have laser eye surgery, I had tremendous doubts. My mom and sister persuaded me to undergo the treatment at the Mediclinic by Dr. Hugo Van Cleynenbreugel. Personally, I was quite fearful about the procedure (because I have very sensitive eyes) but after continued persuasion by my family, I made the decision.

On the day of the procedure, I felt terribly stressed, ‘which was indeed pointless, since the treatment itself is an absolute breeze, when I look back on it.’ I was received in a very friendly manner by the doctor and his assistant, who jointly guided me through the process professionally and pleasantly. The treatment itself took a mere 5 to 10 minutes. As far as the treatment itself goes, you actually feel and see nothing.
