I had my eyes lasered this morning and now I am absolutely free of problems. I can already watch TV easily and have already driven my car (which is actually only allowed after 24 hours). Before I decided to have laser eye surgery, I had tremendous doubts. My mom and sister persuaded me to undergo the treatment at the Mediclinic by Dr. Hugo Van Cleynenbreugel. This was because my sister had undergone the same treatment with him. Personally, I was quite fearful about the procedure (because I have very sensitive eyes) but after continued persuasion by my family, I made the decision.

I had tremendous confidence in the doctor starting at the first consultation. The options for optical surgery were explained to me from A to Z with all the necessary details. Dr. Van Cleynenbreugel is a very pleasant and professional doctor! I chose the ReLEx Smile treatment, which I would recommend to anyone with myopia!

On the day of the procedure, I felt terribly stressed, ‘which was indeed pointless, since the treatment itself is an absolute breeze, when I look back on it.’ I was received in a very friendly manner by the doctor and his assistant, who jointly guided me through the process professionally and pleasantly. The treatment itself took a mere 5 to 10 minutes. As far as the treatment itself goes, you actually feel and see nothing. Of course, you notice that something is happening to your eyes, but there is no pain at all!

The treatment aftercare went perfectly. I could already see clearly by that same evening. And that has only improved in the months since then! I cannot remember ever having such clear vision. There is no way this could have been matched by glasses and contact lenses! My vision is absolutely perfect as I write this! (0) My only regret is that I didn't make the decision sooner!
