We welcome you to a state-of-the-art but secure environment where we do everything possible to ensure your optimal comfort. You will find us in verdant Oud-Heverlee. The practice is easily accessible via the E40, E314 and public transport. You can park free in our parking lot during your consultation or treatment.
The highest quality requirements
Medifocus has a KIWA quality certificate and meets the strictest S3 standard, which is exceptional for private clinics. This is a package of measures that guarantee the safety of operating rooms. It concerns guidelines for electricity, air treatment, emergency power supply and the like. The S3 standard is not mandatory for extramural centers and hospitals, but we have implemented it on our own initiative.
External control and quality assurance
Medifocus is supervised by a number of independent organizations:
HEX. The Hygiene and Expertise organization certifies the sterility of the operating room. In particular, the absence of dust particles, bacteria and other particles in the air is verified using state-of-the-art measuring equipment.
KIWA. Though this certification is not mandatory, Medifocus has actively requested it. Together with ISO 9001, KIWA is the leading international standard for quality control. In concrete terms, KIWA checks whether the treatments performed are standardized and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Belgian Society for Private Clinics. Mediclinic is a founding member and driving force behind the Belgian Society for Private Clinics. This organization has striven for many years to optimize the quality and patient safety of private Belgian clinics.
